Users should not have to scan text from one physical edge of the screen to the other. The full-bleed effect should support the content, not make the content harder to read or harder to debug.
The more complex the section becomes, the more important this separation gets. A simple color band may survive a rough breakout trick. A section with cards, images, buttons, icons, and responsive rows will expose every weak width decision.
